There was a freestyle competition on Saturday at the hole in Clifden followed by a boatercross on the Boluisce River on Sunday morning. Both events went off really well but the boatercross seemed to attact a lot more paddlers, and with a big release from the dam it didn't disappoint!
Heres just a few photos I took at the rodeo in Clifden after my heat, paddling in the hole at dusk with a light setup on the bridge. Bit blurry but you get the idea. The photos below are of the expert mens heat which was won by Moe Kelleher...again.
